So, I noticed that Bards have some really really odd skills that are rarely if ever used. Also, they are missing some things big time.
PROBLEMS:
Knockout - I've never seen a strong bard waste their time with this skill, it almost NEVER lands and is pretty much useless.
Uppercut - Yup, why would you do this? Another skill that VERY rarely lands and even if it does, why would a spell caster stick around? Exactly.
Analyze - Does this even do anything??
Taunt - Skill that can be beneficial, but not only can you fail it but it can backfire and be horrible for you in the end, wtf?
Hide - Priceless, but hey Bards are the only class with hide that lacks....DETECT HIDDEN??? Why the expletive deleted is that??? Lame if you ask me.
SUGGEST SOLUTIONS:
Knockout - Make it do nice damage if hit, not TOO much though like backstab but nice like a strong non-paladin charge or something of that effect, if it doesn't hit the right spot. Knocks the target out it hits the right spot. Kinda like Cleave.
Uppercut - Make it land a bit more often, maybe not complete silence but mess up casting instead?
Analyze - I dunno, take it out? Or make a more useful help file so people can see what it actually does. It doesn't seem to help anything AT ALL.
Taunt - Take away the negatives, and just make it fail a little. More like roar, not nasty backfiring things.
Give them Detect Hidden, must suck being worked by thieves/ninjas that can see you but you can't see as a class that has hide. City dependent but not able to use the city to it's full advantage has to suck pretty bad.
Conclusion:
This is just a suggestion. I have played a 50 bard and was thinking about making another, but remembered all pk for a bard is at 50 is edge crafting the right stuff, prepping and throw chasing people. Kinda lame. Just a little spice up for bards and maybe attract a few more?
Whatcha guys think?
