Sacrifice command

I propose that the 'sacrifice' command be renamed the 'destroy' command, and that no gold is to be rewarded when objects or corpses are destroyed.

If gold is to come from the Aabahran heavens, then rewards of gold could be made from Immortals to players for actions instead of random, mundane destruction of items.

A simple question - why?

Because the idea of an immortal appearing and giving up some cash for breaking an item or corpse threatens my suspension of disbelief.

I have 13 semester hours of graduate level coursework and a fiance.

get to it

Hey, I did my work and she is out of town ;p grumble, grumble

I like this, but I'd propose that rather than doing away with sacrifice entirely, we could up the gold given for sacrifices a great deal (especially on rares) and require that the sacrifice be done at a specific location (e.g. your religion's shrine). You could still destroy things you don't want, but sacrificing something becomes a somewhat meaningful activity.

I always saw sacrificing as a ritual offering to the gods. And honestly, whether or not there's gold involved, I'd still sacrifice/destroy. I don't make that much gold off it anyways.

Item level x2 = Gold received?

EDIT: I know...Tribunals can add a third subcabal: Waste Management.

Might as well just give them the title of Undertaker and the job of cleaning up all the dead tribunals :-P

L-A

;p

sacrifice isn't a rp obj. it isn't a way to make money. it's a small way to encourage players to clean up after themselves.
