When Blademasters first came out, they would sit in there mastering anatomies, using the room as a SAFE PK room, if I remember correctly. There could have also been more reasons, but I just remember this single reason.
I think it was more of a bug that people were dying in it, and they weren't supposed to. I don't remember. Last time I dueled in there was with Covus against Azantar for Leadership I think... Maybe it was just for fun, but I did NOT want to be forced in there by MALCH against an undead thief with four rooms to run around in!
This has been disabled a long time, and i really think it should be a priority to get it fixed sooner rather than later, don't know where it is on Malch's "to do list" at the moment.
I don't see a problem with it. Who cares if you die in the Arena, right? I think the victor should have a choice in the matter.. kind of like the real think way back in the old days

I think the Tribunal should look into it...keep the masses happy with a pleasant distraction...nothing quite like bloody entertainment...
Maybe offer criminals a chance to work off their debt to society by making them fight beasts in the arena for paying spectators..."shrug"
I think it would be a great place for Warmasters to carry out their challenges too... So no one will get involved and it can be watched...

I would settle for people being able to fight a challenge in town without being wanted.

If you punch someone in the face in public, regardless of if you asked if it was ok or not, you will probably have to answer some police generated questions. Why would you want to fight where thieves/ninjas/bards (lol?) could be lurking anyway?
Bards pack a nasty uppercut, and watch out for that knockout that will come swinging your way.
In modern times you would have to answer some police questions. In the dark ages or in a "fantasy" land duels were/are perfectly acceptable.
Noble Paladin yells, "You have offended my sense of honor, Sir. This travesity must be made right. I will meet you in the dueling grounds!"
Treacherous Dark-Knight yells, "Come ready or I will feed your soul to Anume!"
I like the idea of duels but I do not like the idea of having to fight them in a two room arena. That is my point I suppose.

Why the **** would the battle arena be 2 rooms? I'm talking about like a decent sized arena that isn't just a square.
I was referring to the arena as is. If there was to be a PK arena it would have to be bigger and preferably with various terrain, otherwise I withdraw my feeble support of this idea.
