i think its rediculous that the same person can bounty you again and again and again. they can condeath you without having to do any of the work themselves.
bounty delay
How to prevent that:
-
Don't piss people off to the point that they bounty you repeatedly.
-
Don't die to the person who tries to collect on you.

I think most of the syndi's are better class players just on average. Its not an easy cabal. For the most part as long as I can remember I have never copped a full loot from a bounty. From back to messalantha even, probably even before then.
And they are mostly helpful. I know Kurvikel was.
shrug
Takes player discretion.

I don't really see what you're saying here, or why it's relevant to my post (which I assume it's supposed to be, since you quoted me...)
But I will take the opportunity to disagree that Syndicate players are "better" on average. I think that's a warped point of view precipitated by... I don't really know what... but what I do know is that I fail to see any reason that a cabal would draw players of a higher caliber or that any cabal is "harder to play" than any other. I would say that for a caballed character to be played to the tune of "proper RP," takes just as much effort in the PK (Herald excluded) and the RP departments regardless of cabal. The responsibilities of caballed characters, though various, all boil down to similar duties that must be pursued with the same vigor and dedication to succeed in said cabal. It is therefore a faux pas to claim that a cabal typically contains better players, because it is the better players that make a cabal better. While Syndicate has had its fair share of extraordinary players, it has not had a significantly higher proportion of said players than any other cabal.
I apologize for the verbosity of this rebuttal. I blame it on the sun, which I've seen far too much of lately.
I'd say you're wrong again.
Look at the average players of Nexus. Much higher caliber then any other cabal imo. And many factors contribute to this.
If a cabal already has some chars who are doing good, I usually give some less experienced players a chance. A good mix is always good, the less experienced can learn more, the more experienced do not get bored so easily.
Also, dying is not really a bad thing. As long as you learn from a death and try to figure out what to do better, you have done something positive by dying
What really IS a problem is people avoiding fights when they think they will probably loose. I can say from personal experience that you only get better in pk if you DO take on the badass chars. Sure you will die a lot, but you also will win, sometimes because they are totally surprised that YOU went after THEM. ![]()
To get back on topic however, the staff considers some drastic changes to both bounties and the Syndicate in general. Will just take a bit to work out the specifics and then get that all coded. Should make thinks a lot more interesting.
ah that sounds very nice!

If you look at the top dogs of Nexus over the past couple years, sure. Those characters have been fantastic. However, the cabal has a number of individuals who never show their flag or rage delete in the first couple days/week or two, and the same potential for "class"less play as any other cabal. I would not say that they have rocked the boat any more than most other cabals. The one potential exception, in my mind, is Knight, because it's difficult for me to pinpoint any truly killer Knights in the last little while.
Also, Re Eshaine: Changes to Syndicate/bounties sounds great! I hope whoever was behind Korthian is in on that, or that they left behind a list of ideas, because it would be rockin' to see that dream realized.
You could blame eshaine /anume for the higher class of exposed leaders / T's / E's in nexus. She is phenomenal at motivating folks to bring their best to the table both IC and OOC with their RP and she is very good at letting you know that your on the right track without interfering in your own goals and RP with any given character.
