Another idea that would help rare equipment circulation would be making healers unable to wear rares. Healers are forbidden my immortals to PK, sp why should they be able to go to Gear, Dischord, Desolation, Magic, and Steel and hoard on equipment that others want/need? Also, Heralds and Nobles, these two things are allowed to have diplomatic immunity (meaning you cannot PK them) so why do they also get to wear rares? If you cannot be within PK range and able to be attacked whenever, there seems to be no reason at all for being able to wear rares. Please give some ideas and input here.
Rare equipment circulation
Healers are not forbidden to pk. There are ways around diplomatic immunity.
Healers are horde loads of rares and a lot of classes cannot kill them if the healer knows what he/palwen is doing.
Well, they arent forbidden to PK but they cannot run around attacking people like others do. There is really no point for them being decked.
This has been argued lots of times. While I am no fan of healers either, they are killable. I have killed skilled healers with both assassins and shamans. And healers are free to run around and attack undead/vamps and whatnot.
The only proficient healer eater I have ever played was a demon cleric.
How about make all healers moderate?

Heralds are limited to the amount of rares, if any, they can hold while useing said skill. I believe the Nobles are the same when it comes to that skill.
As for Healers... well so far everyone said what I wanted to say.
Why not just kill the healer? They are only marginally less destructible than a goodie cleric.
The problem seems to be catching one. ![]()
They can't PK but they can be PK'd, unless they are royal or noble.
How hard is it to sit in the park outside the library in Rheydin and wait for you?
A bit more difficult then you think. lol. You will be luckier to sit in the garden in Val Miran.
I'm just picking on you a little bit. I don't get why people gripe about healers "hording" rares, like they wouldn't do the exact same thing...
No, I wouldn't be caught dead playing a healer. Pinned one once to learn what they can/can't do, would never play one again. You'd probably have to pay me just to get me to play a goodie cleric, I'd never play a healer.
hehehe. Playing a healers makes you forget some things, but they can be fun.
If you enjoy tea parties then sure. By all means. Not for me though. I enjoy me some blood and guts.
It's not all tea parties ya know. We see our share of blood and guts... we just don't cause them. Unlike somebody ![]()
OMG!
It's the healers are overpowered thread! I thought this day would never come! It's the end of FL! FL IS NOW DYING! RUN! ![]()

Dude, put a healer in the right cabal and watch everyone in the pk range log off. Healers are so overpowered.

Yea right. ![]()
putting a rare limit on a healer is wack. Healers are vamp BANE (and goodie clerics) just because the chars do not actively seek out pks, does not mean they do not need to be ready for it.
