So, this has come up a couple times now in the past week (yes, once by me
). I wanted to throw my $.02 on something I thought would be pretty neat. This is definitely not fully fleshed out...but feel free to suggest ideas if you like the concept:
Obviously, I have no idea what the current work-load is or time availability but here goes:
Good-aligned humans of the classes below can request to be either a copper, gold or silver dragon with same application requirements as demons (15-30, can't pass 30) The color of the dragon affects the breath type and tail proc it gets. Only one dragon (no matter the color) per class.
Races available to: Humans
Classes available to: Cleric, Healer, Warrior, Battlemage, Invoker, Berserker
Size: Large size (these aren't the dragons of D&D...these are 8-10 foot bodies with 6-10 foot tails)
Stats (different per dragon): STR, INT, WIS, DEX, CON
Copper: 22, 20, 20, 22, 22
Silver: 20, 22, 20, 23, 21
Gold: 21, 21, 22, 19, 23
Dragons can not use weapons, like illithids have an innate parrying ability.
Vuln: Piercing weapons
Perks:Flying, breath (is an area attack, can use once per TBD hours, depends on drag color), and tail proc (depends on dragon color, rate of occurence less than a slith's)
Copper: Breath = Lightning dmg w/ chance to paralyze
Tail Proc = Blockable "whip" attack
Silver: Breath = Light dmg (think sear spell w/ chance to blind)
Tail Proc = chance for either damage, disarm, or shield disarm
Gold: Breath = Fire (casts at curr_level + curr_level/10)
Tail Proc = no damage, chance to trip or dirt kick everyone that is attacking it (like dark knight in avalon)
Cons: 500 Exp Penalty, Mounts would not be available to them due to their weight.
Let me know your thoughts and I'm sure someone with much better writing skills could come up with the RP behind them.
