The **whole point of choosing the ranger option **is to have that distance advantage, as well as speed in firing advantage.
i agree to disagree i guess. i chose it for the fact that its the only class i know of that can sleep you DURING combat.
archers get the ability, a special ability, to fire fast, and long. Warriors can only ever shoot 1 room away on command. The fact they fire back 7 rooms is obviously broken. Anyone with arrows can deal nearly the same damage to you as them. I have actually had instances (pre arrow change) where people dealt MORE damage to me than I did to them.

Then take this to someone who knows the class more intimately then most (even more so with archers seeing as I just spent more then 1 year playing one), its completely different at higher ranks with the proper preperation.
Every class hits a peak some point whilst ranking to the BALANCE at 50.
I dont say this in a negative way towards you as you are new obviously, but most comments about play are directed to combat at 50 with other pinnacles.
