I don't full-loot anyone unless they give me a reasonable fight' date=' which a new player probably didn't. Even some of the most staunch full-loot advocates leave a newbie their set of tainted or whatever. Who cares? None of this affects truly new players. That's not what this thread (and others like it) are about.[/quote']
This is very true - theres so much talk about how we drive new players away with full looting. TBH even if you do full loot someone in Mithril (which i never do) It only takes them 10 mins or so to get back on their feet.
The 'your so horrible to newbies' is really people getting pissed off (understandably) when they lose their set it's taken them a week of their playtime to get.
I've posted this a few other places, recently, in this thread amongst others. I really feel that making it easier to achieve a good set, and reducing the difference between a 'good set' and a 'god set' would address this problem a lot better than trying to set up some sort of 'non-looting alliance'.
Making it harder to loot.

Agreed.
In any case, this wasn't about full looting. With my suggestion, a skilled player could still full loot the guy, but it would take much more effort then just "get all corpse". Back on topic folks!

You haven't heard? All threads are now subject to highjacking for full looting discussion. And after hijacking, they are subject to full looting.
