Can we get a way to send multiples at once implemented? Otherwise, let's face it, it's worthless. Having a song split up by your prompt 10 times looks tacky and just doesn't have the same feel as the other songs. Anyone else think it'd about more bards using freeverse?

I just don't like the fact that people have to scroll up to see my songs because their prompts are popping up inbetween each one.
I'm agreeing with you. I've played characters who did poetry, and it's the same thing. Also I wonder if there would be a way to implement a "pause" command that would basically lag you voluntarily for x seconds. This would make it possible to use a single alias for each song/poem rather than 14 of them.

Anyways... I like the idea so long as it only stands at the freeverse channel and not says or any others.
But, I don't think that it's really imperative. A few line breaks don't make all that much of a difference, and a prompt in the middle doesn't make much a hassle anyways.
What would piss me off more than anything is walking into a room and catching some bard singing and having to scroll through a screen's worth of bad poetry/song lyrics just to find out what someone said in a tell to me. I've got the same beef with people who have descs that require any "Hit return to continue"'s. I love to bio people to see what they look like... especially if I'm going to be ranking with them or just chatting. But if I have to spend any more than a minute or two reading something, I get a little testy.

Well last time I checked this is an RP and PK mud, and it seems to me like most of the suggestions brought up are PK changes that will never be made...it's just that people like to whine. I'd like to see just some changes to our tools make RP more efficient, streamlined, and more fun overall.
RP is a tool of the imagination. PK is a tool of code, numbers, and data. One requires significantly more 1's and 0's to get done. I think a few lines in a song broken up by the prompt is not a bad deal. You can always "Prompt " to take care of it yourself.
But, I see what you're saying. However, you're like me in this regard. We view FL as a social outlet, best used for imaginative purposes and as a multiplayer game that you can't win. A lot of people view it as a hack'n'slash and only care about "winning" (aka killing everyone).
So, in the end... I'm with you, trust me, I am. But would you rather have Malch work on tweaking balance and making the game "fair" and balanced, or would you rather him make something look prettier?
