New Skills to buy with RP

Mercy -- Very useful for RP to be able to fight without intending to kill.

Lore -- See where items come from can be useful.

Rescue -- Very useful when in Gear/Winter/Etc, also has interesting RP benefits.

Haggle - Obvious to the few classes that lack it.

While quality of life goes up, I don't know if rp points should supply you with combat skills.

I wouldn't be in favour of dark knights or crusaders being able to get mercy. It'll make what is meant to be a challenging climb for those first few weapon levels too easy.

Lore is a newbie friendly perk. I can't remember the last time I actually used it on my characters that had it, with the exception of my crusader for obvious reasons.

Having any class with the ability to pick up rescue seems to take away the diversity that certain classes bring. Having a warrior, crusader or paladin come along with you to gear/winter/etc should make them appreciated, beneficial and sort after.

Haggle is a odd one. I know Paladins don't get it, which makes getting missile scrolls a little expensive unless someone picks them up for you. Not sure if this is balance, RP reasoning. It does seem trivial though.

Paladins should have to pay more since they are just so damn giving.

Seriously though, most a paladins are going Knight which gets their own missile shield on tap. If Tribunal, well... guess you're doing gold runs.

Paladins get free food, water, mounts, and equipment via request.

Gold is easily farmed.

I mean, the existing things do have PK benefits, so I don't see the presence of some PK benefit as disqualifying. Comprehend lets you see what a caster is trying (know if they are going for the dispel), Know Alignment lets you know a cleric's abilities, locate object lets you find people unaware by locating corpse, gold, spring, glass, etc. Mercy and certain classes I agree could be a problem...we could lock it off to them. I just think mercy is really useful for RP. Alot of times someone attacked me I didn't want to fight. For RP reasons I might want to give them mercy.
