When I think of old Western's and equivalent it to Tribunal and the city-states I've often wondered where the robbing of banks were. I think it was be a fun idea if we were able to stick up banks. A process that can only be done when Tribunals are present. It would be another way to try accumulating wealth and giving Tribunals another duty to protect. And maybe another way to spend gold could be on buying that retirement home we always wanted for when we become outlaws lol. There could always be more incentive to use gold too. Thoughts?
Banks & Tribunal
A certain Pirate robbed Hazel. Extremely not worth it.
Edit:: To entertain the Idea, what if there were an extremely high level Mob Stagecoach that carried tribunal funds from city to city. Then players could rob the stagecoach for large amounts of coin. However, this actually creates more trouble for tribunals as they are supposed to defend towns where the stagecoach would be in transit. Therefor, why not consider that the Cartel runs the banks, meaning it would be in there best interest to defend money transfers or post bounties on bank robbers.
Stagecoach would be cool.
If a Tribunal is on, they get a message to help defend it. If the stagecoach is successfully defended before it disappears after X amount of hours then the Tribunal is awarded CP. If the attacker wins, they get the gold. No penalty to either side for losing.
Every tick, guards spawn on the stagecoach to defend it.
This would also really help with tribunal coffers. Since it's only bolstered by captures. It takes so long to recover from raids due to this

Not the only way. It's not much, but it's something. See below.
It's shitty though that Tribunals are basically the only cabal that loses their coffers anymore. Used to be that controlling armies halfway across the realms invited corruption that only an alliance with Justice/Tribunal or the Syndicate could minimize/negate. If you couldn't upkeep your armies, they'd revolt and become neutral. You'd keep losing them until there was a balance.
If this stagecoach thing were to be implemented, I'd highly recommend this come back into play (though really it should be anyway). This way other cabals could get in on the action, too. Rob/defend the stagecoach and gain all (or part in the case of defend) of what was carried that goes straight to the coffers.
The below bit:
`CABAL COMMANDS
Syntax: cb : cabal talk
cabal info : Offers your cabal's economic status
cabal info : Offers intelligence on other cabals
cabal rooms : Shows info on you rooms and powers
cabal promotion : Shows requirements for your next promotion
cabal sponsor : Sponsors a character for entrance
cabal join : Joins a subcabal once at proper rank
cabal leave : REMOVES you from the cabal
cabal map : Shows a map of your cabal
cabal donate : Donate cps to cabal (at 50% ratio)
build : Enters the room builder
vote : vote on or create votes
These commands deal with workings of your own cabal, and offer various
information to allow you to function effectively. The "sponsor" command
is usable only if your cabal has decided to use the sponsor induction
system. You may "join" subcabal once you are high enough cabal rank
to make this choice. This is usually but not always offered near the
Veteran rank equivalent in the cabal.
The "donate" command allows you to donate your own cp's towards cabal
coffers. You lose 50% of the amount donated in the process, and cannot
donate cp's to reach an amount over 500 cp's in cabal coffers.

I like the idea of robbing/defending the stagecoach on paper. Some concerns I would raise are what the impact to Tribunal players would be with either a success or failure. It could become overwhelming if you have one Tribunal versus a couple of watchers, the stagecoach getting robbed, now they are losing their standard. What do they do? I don't think having to make those decisions are necessarily wrong, just need to ensure we are not setting players up for failure deliberately.
Another consideration is what is the impact of robbing a stagecoach? Can a Tribunal issue a warrant on a character that attacks the stagecoach? What if it is outside of a "law" zone?
