Clothing/Armor

Very minor thing, but it'd be nice to be able to buy a semi-full set of clothing or armor without having to kill things for them in at least each of the three main cities. Went to the armor shop and everything was high priced and too high a level. It might have just been... Rehvin (can you tell I'm a newbie?) or maybe I didn't explore properly.

What was I talking about? Oh yes. Larger variety of purchasable clothing/armor for lowbies. Maybe even a clothing store

btw I have decent enough equipment thanks to some helpful and friendly players so that's not why I'm asking for anything

Agreed, a suit of armor/clothing availalbe for purchase at each city is a great idea. In fact make a set for newbies as well as 50's. That way, a 50 can get basic gear all in one go, instead of killing those damn golems over and over...

Re-equipping should not be too easy, in my opinion, even if it just is basic armor. Learning where and how to equip, as well as to do it quickly, was an important step for me in the learning curve. Even moreso when I found pieces superior to the ones I already knew in more remote areas. As I see it, offering entire sets of armor in the cities would discourage exploration. And exploration is one of the most fun things about the game.

Ask in game how goods neutrals get their armor. For evils its a bit harder.

Completing the newbie quests will help you tremendously in this area as well, Jacen. Also, like Mya said, ask around if you're good or neutral. You should find some help.

Or maybe there could be a place where you can store non rare equipment in town... but make it pretty expensive to store...

Yeah, imagine if FL had lockers at the bank!!! That would own.

I hope that was a clue to the whole locker thing...

The lockers aren't THAT expensive, I mean, c'mon, 500 an Aabahran month, if you can't stash away enough gold to keep the locker open then I highly doubt you have much to put in there anyways.

But, getting back on track here, a locker isn't any good if you don't have a surplus of non-rare wares. I think the system they have in right now is fine, and yes, your first char will die. Quite a few times at that. Use your first to explore the lands, see what mobs wear what. I started with my first char from Rheydin, used that as my center point, and radiated out from there. Exploring makes your first char fun, everything's new.

You WILL die, you WILL learn, and each subsequent char will reap the benefits. Have fun, see you in game.

Thsi reminds me of my first crossing of the Forsaken Lands.

That desert was dealy then, now just a nuicence.

And lockers are worth for a lot more than just stashins a suit of armor.

As you can store Pills inside them or other stuff.

Last time I tried to store stuff in a locker it all disappeared without a trace.
