Customisable Warcries?

I think it would be pretty cool if the classes that get warcry could customise them. An Imm would have to approve it of course, would just make a bit of a change from the usual "heed my call!" and "I bring forth your fury!"

yeah i like it! but you can already yell things at your own will!

we don't want too much for the imms to approve!!

I think it's nifty, but I also believe this idea has been brought up a few dozen times in the past as well.

I think you'll find they already vary according to class.

I think it is a cool idea. Couldnt it be taken care of while getting desc approved?

You could keep the usual warcry you would get if you wanted to, but if you could personalise to make a unique warcry that would be mean.

You can make a trigger to do a custom yell everytime you warcry.

The most classic warcry of all time...

"Moleran, I bring forth your fury!"

Or you could turn warcry into a command which screamed whatever you typed...

like

warcry Doom rises once more to the challenge!

Only problem is with warcries now, you KNOW when someone warcries...and its kinda like "Oh, ****, someone is getting ready for combat."

ummm, I just keep warcry up all the time... whenever it falls just do it again, it's not necessarily just because you're getting ready for combat.

I think the point being made is that screaming through an area about "unleashing some god's fury" and what not kinda negates the element of surprise.

Then go out the area and do it

Point was that if you customize them, they woul no longer be defined as warcries...and so no longer that kind of warning.

Would be cool if we could make all warcries a certain color...or bold. or have it "scream" rather than "yell"

Or just make warcry more interesting, hehe, have warcry give the normal affects, but also one that lasts like 0 or 1 hours that enhances your charge attack. Just imagine someone charging into battle screaming their warcry...there ya go, some nice battle fervor.

I like that idea a lot. A warcry charge enhancement.

what about the classes that dont have both?

Well, that was just an example, warcry could powerup different abilities for different classes...really the options are wide and varied. You could easily make warcry give any number of very short term bonus factors, depending on....class, race, religion, whatever.

Here's a fun fact. All classes have a custom warcry. Not all have the warcry skill.

anyway, any race/class can yell whatever they want before battle. Ya'll just want free powerups!
