Thing is though Celerity, although you ARE right. I could of always just recalled, but it was a challenge.
So I mean, we have a class who is far too offensive while still maintaining far too much defense.

Uber decked warriors wont have troubles against clerics - although they will never be able to finish them off they won get owned.
Actually one other thing that tilted things in favor of clerics is the change to assassinate and the abolition of Hunter. Clerics used to be sitting ducks for Hunter ninjas pretty much. I remember UC freaking out on the forum after repeated assassinations from Galadran.
Hehe... yeah... I recall a Top Ten Things I Hate About FL list of his that had Galadran, ninjas, Galadran, and assassinate in it.
Simply put, an evil cleric, against a skilled strong decked melee, has virtually 0 chance of winning, but not a high chance of death.
Conversely, though, against newer players, or players with crappy armor, an evil cleric is virtually guaranteed to win.
My problem isn't with the former; my problem is with the latter. I think simply changing sermon to 2 round lag would pretty much solve the issue.

Agreed.
