halflings receive + 10 hp/mana/moves regen when "too full to eat more" @mya votes no.
Small races (faerie (tiny), halfling, and gnome) receive the 'small arms' perk which improves their thac0 by one class tier and lets them roll twice for damage calculation, taking the better result when wielding one handed weapons. @mya votes no.
I like these a lot. It would certainly give us reasons to play different races. I love stone giants, but why would I? Boulder throw is hardly comparable to what an ogre offers.
Due to their naturally diminished stature, smaller sized races of Aabahran excel with the usage of smaller weaponry. Daggers, whips, and one handed swords, spears(too much?) are a perfect fit for their tiny features. Due to this, these races will receive additional bonuses while wielding theses weapons.
It could be anything from additional attacks a round to increased damage on successful attacks landed per round. A halfling shield warrior, for instance, would do VERY well using a sword/shield combo because they'd receive a boost to their offense as well as their defense. Something a larger race would ignore because they are bigger.
Not only will this boost these races, but it'll make light 1handed weapons better by default.( If not, maybe those could be buffed up a bit too depending on how badly it'd mess with other combos like blademasters, which are nonexistent at the moment)
Perhaps a series of quests available to gnome melees, one that increases strength, one that increases dex, and one that discovers an ancient gnomish (gnome only) weapon specific to the class. Then we have not altered gnome mages at all.
It would be nice to see a benefit within each of the melee classes for gnomes, thieves have some autos for instance, lets do the same for the others. Heck maybe gnomes cheat at cards so could never draw themselves the death tarot. Perhaps gnomes have an affinity for wood and crafting, wonder how that might help?
The one on Avatars. Avatars suck already, and they have a whole cabal that comes after them, without them being allowed to kill back. All the bonuses they get are obtainable via consumables, except the +1 to all stats. So that's the only REAL thing they get from being an avatar.
Ogres. Ogres suck as they are. Any competent mage eats ogres for breakfast. Ogres were recently nerfed too. No need to nerf them again.
Illithids already eat huge amounts of hits from dex melee's. These changes would make an already difficult class nearly unplayable. I vote no to this one.
Remove vampire racial bonus vs paladins. WTF!!!!! FL has a serious evil bias. Uncommitted, what ever. Doesn't matter to me.
Stone giants deal increased mundane damage. NO!!! x1000 times no.
Storm giants deal increased water and cold damage. NO!!! x1000 times no.
Halflings deal increased damage with swords and daggers. OK.
Half-elf: +1 wis, +1 con = 102 points (same amount of total points as h-drow) OK.
Storm giant: -1 int, +1 dex, +1 con = 97 points NO!!! x10 times no. This screws clerics Storms more than you think. Even Ogres have better Int.
Stone giant: +1 dex = 97 points OK.
Duergar: +1 int, +1 dex, +1 con OK.
Illithid: -1 str, -1 dex = 98 points @Kyzarius votes no NO!!! x1000 times no. I have crushed Illithiads defences, this would suck big time.
Ogre: -1 str, -1 dex = 98 points @f0xx votes no NO!!! x1000 times no. Ogres are not that OP.
Avatars select two stats to increase instead of all five. @f0xx votes no Hell NO!! Makes no sense!
Alcoholic perk free for dwarf/duergar. Uncertain on dwarf bonus.
free addict perk for gnome/halfling OK.
trap spellvl +2 for faerie OK. I will add more. Get faeries dodge to 110% racial.
halfling traps cost no mana and half lag when placing NO!
gnomes have an extra thief mechanism selection OK.
gnomes automaster ranger staff/fletchery/bowyer (103% max) OK. Crap, just give gnomes 110% dodge like faeries.
halflings receive + 10 hp/mana/moves regen when "too full to eat more" No. Blademasters.
Small races (faerie (tiny), halfling, and gnome) receive the 'small arms' perk which improves their thac0 by one class tier and lets them roll twice for damage calculation, taking the better result when wielding one handed weapons. NO. OP statiscaly, specialy for BLM. for a avg27 weapon it becomes avg29, a avg 31 becomes avg 34. Alone is ok, but with other bonus is over the top.
