A request to remove wimpy rounds. Those rounds that are cut off when wimpy takes affect. Nothing is more frustrating then trying to land the finishing blow with 2 round lag on murder but the opponent can wimpy flee after only .5 lag give or take.
Wimpy rounds

Wimpy has always bugged me. Never used wimpy on any of my characters and a certain ogre in syndicate, used to bash me from the next room exactly, because of wimpy bugs.

I've brought this up so many times I can't even count them.
Btw, murder has 1 round of lag Tassin, you noob.
If you're lagged you can't wimpy flee. If you open with murder hoping for that double round and someone wimpy flees - your own fault.
I'm not changing wimpy on that premise only.

Hmm I've never realized going for a double round on someone abusing wimpy is a viable tactic, it actually seems pretty unpredictable to rely upon for a kill when wimpy can still bypass it so I thought? If I murder it's because my other skills encompass the skill + two rounds of lag or a skill that's inferior to a murder.
I.E. As a warrior I don't think it makes much sense to dirt, trip, bash, a cleric at awful? As a zerk does it make sense to dirt, haymaker, headbutt when they're at awful? Assuming charge was used when they were at pretty hurt.

And how are you supposed to open as a melee class against a class you can't lag then, if not with murder?
With a scratch from dirt kick, so that he could flee straight away, turn tail and run, while you are lagged for two rounds, of course, hahaha.
To clarify...the above is me trying to make a joke.
I've never had the issue of people wimpy fleeing from me and living so I can't really defend this log......get faster?
Wimpy used to flee at the last minute? I'm okay with.
Setting wimpy as high as it can go so you flee at any little bit of damage? Irritates me.
Mainly when I fight against clerics/shamans.. Anything else? Meh.

LOL. I was just going to make a joke about how only Chesta wouldn't see a problem with this.
You make dirt kick seem OP! :)
Lol. Sometimes I miss the pk adrenaline rush. Then again it gets boring raping all of Tricks characters
Chesta: " Ogre warrior gladiator is the strongest combo in the game!!"
Record Rompkei. Find Trick's character. Laugh at Chesta.
Back to topic, wimpy is an automated flee that cuts rounds (and spells i.e. magic missile) in half. If that is not a bug then I don't know what it is.
In previous threads it has been said that wimpy helps newbies to not take too many NPC deaths and that's why it will stay. Fair enough. Why not give it 2 rounds of lag though like a normal skill?
Wimpy gives flee lag as if you were to type flee. Why give it 2 rounds of lag again?

Because it flees after just one attack?
Yeah...I've had people flee from the scratch from dirt kick, exactly because of the wimpy. I mean, they disappear exactly after the dmg message, but that can actually be done manually as well, so anther one of my signature posts that have no meaning.
Wimpy just needs to be removed entirely. What's it meant to do? Save you from yourself? Thought we were against things like that.
My two cents.
Wimpy is great for new players who don't quite know when too late is too late. You elite folks should be able to work around it, right? You're the elite after all.
Usually, some of the most broken things in games are things that are designed for "newer" players, but used by vets.
Ironically, wimpy can only teach you bad habits, if you really are a new player.
