Yea thats right. With SERIOUS changes to several classes, the addition of many new zones I think we have been well overdue for a pwipe.

Can you explain to me the purpose of a pwipe? What does it serve, other than to wipe out old powerhouse combos people resurrect every now and then when their bored?

IF there were MAJOR changes that make changes to the skill trees of many classes, then yes.
Right now though, no.
personally I feel that pwipes are a slap-to-the-face for those of us that devote a lot of time and effort into our characters. so, I would be HIGHLY against it unless EVERYTHING was getting an "overhaul" in one fell swoop.
Been through the Pwipe here in the past. Very difficult to deal with. I would not like to see it again.
Only way I would ever pwipe is if I moved player files over to a MYSQL table format. Which won't happen for a long, long while.
