There are numerous times people have charmies and you want to leave them somewhere - so they don't get hurt, for strategic purpose, overlap with groups, etc. How about a command where you can order your charmies to "stay"
order stay
Charmie will stay here until you return.
Is there any downside?
Some charmies can. I know for a fact Knights can order their charmies to do all kinds of cool things.
True enough.. this exists in some form. But only to Charmies who are absolutely loyal.
Get scrolls of recall and use them on the pet.
Pass door potions and leave him behind one.
The real problem is how to get your pet from the darned cabal guard.
That place is covered in honey.
Pets cannot go past the cabal guard unless the owner of the pet does.
There are other charmies with these 'commands' already. Join Knight.
He does have a good idea just because of my struggles with past Rangers or any other Charmie class in the arena. There's about a .34% chance that you will leave the arena with your charmie still with you. I usually resort to the pass door potions and fight in the arena without them to avoid a headache of losing them.
Same here. Or I order charmie(s) to kill a mob and walk away. It seems silly to have to resort to these things just to get around what seems like a pretty basic command that adds no real PK value.
A necromancer can entomb their zombies and summon golems easily enough.
It's not about going past cabal guards, it's about hitting your opponent standard and your pet getting stuck there, for a long time.
We should be able to order our pets to flee.
I have no problem with a stay command as long as there is no teleport command to get them back to owner. And certain ranger pet things don't work over the distance.
