Impossible Quests

Possibly an ascending timer for multiple forfeits? First one is 12, next is 18, etc.

And the 26th time your level 32 has to "get a note from a red detriment and bring it to the pit lord within 2 days" will only cost you a 7 day timer!

Problem with ascending timers is that they soon defeat the purpose.

I believe the challenge is finding that sweet spot where you facilitate leveling but do not make it t much of a joke.

So this is a good point in regards to stacking timers

So long as the timer only goes up on consecutive quest cancellations, there's no real issue.

That's what I was getting at. Consecutive rather than flatly ascending.

That is what I meant, but not what I said.

Still think the guild master should shun you. (and maybe it should only be that town's guild master that does, leaving the player a chance to try a different town) Which brings to mind a follow up question.

What happens if you fail or forfeit a clan quest?
