Creatures resistances that are used or designed for leveling should be very very low.
Blind for example should work with equal proficiency as dirt kicking on equivalent mobs (little / lots of luck).
I think this would go miles in balancing the ease of leveling amongst the classes.
just a thought.

Blindness is useless as long as the xp is good.

Yeah, also when you consider the mana cost as a % of your mana at that level to blind a mob. The skills are way unbalanced for that purpose.
Blind lasts longer, but starts out with huge nearly 25% of your mana pool cost, and gradually falls in line as you level. Though it never loses all cost.
Dirt is shorter, but the only cost is 2 rounds of lag, and truthfully an equal level melee lands dirt pretty consistently when lvling.
The irony is that the melee, defensively, and offensively, doesn't need the blind effect applied to the mob nearly as desperately as the caster. I wouldn't consider a change against player characters, since blind is very powerful at those levels in pk. Hence why I suggest nerfing the mob's resistances to the spell.
