More Evil Align Socket/Noremove Staffs!!!

I'm very sad that the new Crystal Abbot Staff is "anti evil".

Pincer staff is anti-evil.

Staff of natures sprit is anti-evil.

Frigid staff is evil and has a socket, however it's not very high level. Really having trouble finding a cursed staff for my evil class.

Bone cane of Wohpat

Noremove-possible staffs are hard to obtain for very good reasons.

Evils have access to the very best staff in the game, if you know what I mean

Matter of opinion.

Yup. I could easily see it going the other way, in fact, from HAVING used both, I'd DEF. go the other way.

Clockstaff as well.

Heh, my mistake then.

I guess my knowledge of eq is somewhat limited, and that Beta FL Item database is not complete.

Although I am curious to what that awesome staff you guys were talking about above.

And it's not even rare

No idea what other way Trick is talking about though

You know, we can speak of rares except factions/Desolation and quest areas.

I have no idea what staff they are speaking about but:

You have the socketable Bone Cane from the Sunken city.

The no-drop sceptre from the bathhouse.

The 1 handed awl-Pike in Fal Dara.

The socketable Frigid staff in Minoma.

What class are we talking about? I would use on of these until you can get your hands on the bone cane. Either from the mob or through PK.

Also there some ways ways to make a staff norem/nodrop. One is finding a necromancer with such a staff. Other is ....

Also, why isn't there a Necromancer selling cursed weapons?

You could literally make millions with such a premium service.

Also imms are seing this, the Crystal staff is to easy to get by newbies.

I saw a L15 with one the other day.

Perhaps some sort of mob with key to the display would be in order.

Goods request, neutral kill.

And it's not even rare

Hehe.

Btw, Ellwyn seems to be talking about a melee viable staff, Mya. So I would guess high avg matters.

Was actually thinking for an invoker. I am guessing it has to be high lvl to be able to charge it up to full/high capacity. And nodisarm can be life or death when your staff is everything.

Well then, my (wrong) assumption should help you help you make one for yourself

Staff level, in my experience of multiple invokers with mastered mana charge, has nothing to do with how much you can charge it.

If you're having trouble being disarmed, you may want to try wielding a dagger and a charged stave - you won't parry quite as well, but a disarm won't cut your casting power.

Awl pike is a 1h staff. I don't play invokes but I'd think that and a charged stave would be good.

Thanks guys. Learned a lot just from this thread. Some info for future invoker players:

This is one of the increasingly rare areas of the game we'd like to keep secret for future players to discover on their own. Please allow them the opportunity to do that.

Oops. Gotcha. >.

My basic mana charge advice: be cautious. Horrible, horrible things can and will happen to invoker players. My first invoker had more deaths due to a flare than he had pdeaths.

Only if you plan on killing yourself very quickly. I thought that would be awesome to have two fully charged items in your inventory and got flared by an UNSPEAKABLE and made out with like 20hp. Experiment with mana charge, but in all honesty it's not that hard to really figure out. Once you know the right amount of mana to put in it's pretty cake after that. You can play it safe and do it slowly. But I would suggest getting as many as you can and getting a few non-rare ones fully charged just in case you lose a rare cursed one.

As far as Necromancers selling cursed weapons, you'd have to uncurse it just to give it to the person as once you curse them it becomes nodrop as well.
