Are these in the works for every class? I know melee's have all gotten them? I like the idea that it makes every class slightly different at 50.
Class Custom Paths
i dont think so.
I actually think it would be cool to have elemental select path invokers etc..
It might also make them more or less playable and less static. Always fighting an invoker who always icestorms, or always hellstreams is usually a downhill battle - losing items due to both spells can be annoying.
Increasing paths for invokers would not only make it so, perhaps, choosing the ice path would eliminate the destroying of items through hellstream, but would increase ice storms damage.
It would also make it so invokers choosing fire, for instance, that firestorm's blind would be longer and more useful, fireball damage increased, and more fire spells added.
Would be pretty cool.

That's actually the most important question there.
That and, who is going to fix the bugs that will inevitably pop up from implementing this.
Considering the nature of the changes suggested, I suspect it'd be more an issue of balancing things early on than bug fixing. Long-term, balancing would be a bit simpler, as it would allow much easier changes to weaken specific combos rather than races/classes as a whole, but at the beginning it'd be a good deal of design work and refinement, no doubt.
