Vial bag.

With the proliferation of herbs sactuary, glimmering staff, we had the sanctuary situation evolve.

Other stuff also changed, and now 95% of pk occurs at 50 range.

While i do not like herbs for their instant activation. Or the staff for overpower. The use of vials now is quite sporadic.

Perhaps now it's the time to have them sell in shops, as their relative value has decreased.

So I propose that we sell them in shops. A bag of them to force bulk shoping and serious cash expenditure.

I was thinking of a bag of 10 vials for 20 000 to 25 000 gold.

Or just simply 3 for 10 000 gold.

Vials? Oh, those are the things I COLLECT just to have them EVAPORATE before I ever USE THEM.

Vials are becoming worthless and obsolete. sigh

Sparkling pills for the win. As good as vials, won't evaporate, can eat them while fighting. Dunno why more people don't use them.

edit: I wish vials and herbs had a last in last out policy when bagged.

I agree, vials are just good for turning into pills, pills ftw, no withdrawls

Vials are still in wide use, even if you don't use them much, mya. Yet true is, that their value compared to other sources is very hindered with the fact that they just don't last if you horde them.

IMHO, the vials crumbling is rather outdated, since there is a lot of other methods to get sanctuary without the fear of them crumbling. And I'm NOT saying that other items should start crumbling as well, I'm just saying that it's a headache that even some of them do.

Dunno why more people don't use them.

If I don't remember wrong, sparkling pills did crumble long ago. Now, I've carried three pills for months.

Plus, if you're full, you can't eat pills. Defecating can get you killed (been there), even with mobs (been there too).

I think that is easy to fix.

Just up the level of the item 'vial'. Not the sactuary spell level. This akin to food should allow for longer freshness.

I do not like pills, i find the idea of being able to have sanctuary while fighting a tad unbalancing. People should have to flee to have it, or at least sheath-hold-quaff/brand/zap.

You have thieves that can preserve herbs, why not some mages (IE: Vokers/Clerics) that can do the same? Not just vials, but other potions as well. Gyvels, Magenta's, Red, etc, etc.

Yes, I know this is a tangent from the origional topic, but I did it anyway.

Great idea.

I would take communers out. As they don't really need it.

Great addiction to mages, whose power is always constructed and not at hand.

And please turn it into a skill. This way imms can grant it for RP purposes.

Why not some mages that can preserve potions?

I like that idea as well.

lol, I carry at least 15 vials with me at all times, they're everywhere, it's so easy to always have enough.

I missed having Rygsne around selling all those herbs haha
