Okay, I get that as you die and come back it takes a nasty, nasty, nasty physical toll on the body. Such is the cost of death.
So, here's my question: How do you handle loss of con at pinn?
A) Keep extra trains on hand?
Keep + CON gear on hand?
C) Don't worry about it...your backpack is full of healing stuff?
I know at 50 that CON does not affect your total HP. But it does affect your ability to save against mals AND how quickly you heal, which I also realize isn't that much of an issue with all the curatives laying around.
I generally would wear extra con gear. Then again, I'm very careful with my deaths before 50, to the point where I sometimes won't look for a fight I cannot win.
+con gear =best bet.
I usually go with A, and keep a few trains on reserve (good for practicing cabal skills too).
There should really be a "out of cabal" means to train you con back, and I am not talking about keeping train sessions.
I go with A. How quickly you heal at pinn is very important. Curatives and +con gear are great, but if you died and got looted, then your stuck with a wait for health. Lame. Keep your con up.
Lockers, people. Lockers! Stock it with +con gear.
It's called RP you power gamers! As your character ages and dies his life force grows weaker. EQ can help with this if you really want too, otherwise don't try and stop the ebb and flow of life, geez.
I can understand the RP behind it pretty well, thank you. What I can't understand is why do caballed characters have a way to deal with this mechanism and non-caballed characters do not. It's pretty discrimating, if you ask me.
And yes, I've heard the "wear +con EQ". I am very curious whether some of the vets even consider their replies sometimes or just throw around random sh1t like an attempt to throw dust in someone's eyes.

I'm excited to have my character almost Pinned, and I feel that I can start making "Commune" comments again.

lol- thats exactly what happens when I run into you.
I bet she is just luring you into a false sense of security and the she will ninja chop you when you least expect.
For the longest time I was afraid of ninja/thieves. I didn't have a clue how a healer could ever survive an attack from said person.
Advice I got, "train (skills here)" and do not hesitate to use them when you see an aggressive "sneak" lurking a out you.
For me the most effective way to avoid a ninja attack is to simply avoid said person all together.
However I love to instigate.
lol- run and hide, and talk ****
you sound like a ninja already.
well I couldn't very well talk sh!t while I'm busy going:
"sh!t sh!t sh!t!
co 'cure crit'
co 'cure crit'
flee
co 'cure crit

flee
co 'cure crit'

ect, ect."
so the distance thing works perfect for me.

now, take that...apply it to a cleric elf/drow and be aggressive. hit your oppnent once or twice, then full heal, once or twice, full heal. Running an area away sometimes just to heal twice nd come back. Then when you see your HP is at 100% and theirs is dwindling below 50%...you strike. No more fleeing and healing, in their face opening with your heaviest hitter.
If cure crit is your first command after you flee every time, you will die.
