subatomic fission is generated by a quark bomb. Quark bombs being a de-terraforming bomb. Basically causes a ripple of unstable "quark" energy across every atom on, and in the planet, causing it to com apart at a sub-atomic level. The bomb itself had no actual defense, hence the galactic treaty drafted to prohibit it's use. Hence the term Subatomic fission. Had I wanted to refer to a 60 year old bomb, I would have said nucular.
Nerd fail.
Unfortunately, like most sci-fi, this also contains a science fail.
Someone care to explain how werebeast monks or warriors would be strong?
Dunno if I can get into too much detail about it.
Wolf + Monk is a dead give away though
Except for all the defenses you would lose...
I will gladly give away every one of those defenses for a beast monk
I would think werebeasts would get gimped in the kick boxing and martial arts departments while transformed. Which would make it a long uphill battle.
They would, but they gave me the option of Weredonkey.
I base my opinion on the fact that all werebeasts are gimped on auto damage. Rangers lose their bows, dev zerkers lose their damage bonus when transformed. While I do not know for sure why this is, I suspect it has something to do with a werebeasts seeming ability to always land a couple of his attacks. These attacks might be considered "autodamage" or "unblockable" and therefor the implementors did not wish to allow extra unblockables or add a damage bunus to an attack that can not be stopped. Just a guess.
alot of people get hung up on the little losses, and don't factor in the little gains. Unless an imm says I can talk about specific subraces, I won't, but you would never be asked to give without recieving

Exactly. Being transformered as it is now nulls some class skills and even cabal skills. Martial arts and kickboxing would get axed and so would the little effects associated it with it. I'm not even sure if chakras would be transfered or if the effects of stances would retain. So basically you have a transformed monk that has the same number of hits a regular monk has with severely less defenses and harder punches plus werepower and some monk skills not working.
As for warrior, as they function now it just wouldnt be worth it imho. You would have a human warrior with that had an easier time with mages.
but you would never be asked to give without recieving
I played a couple of good drow. I can assure you, you can be asked to give without recieving. As a Ninja, I lost almost every class skill. As a warrior, I lost every weapon a drow cleric would use except staff which I was mastered in(a bit of mercy from Malch), warcry, berzerk, and fourth attack.
That said, it was worth it. The gain comes from a unique RP to share with the rest of Aabahran. Sometimes its just fun to know the odds are always against you, the underdog does not win often, but when he does, it feels awesome.
I say go ahead and open up Cleric's to the neutral alignment! So, good clerics can become healers, bad clerics can become shamans and neutral clerics can become druids! Then, I would say, "WEREBEAST CLERIC!" ONE TO NOTHING! I WIN, CALLED IT!
Ill take a werebeast monk, and roflstomp your werebeast cleric.
I can see Nameless getting a Werebeast Monk only to find out that you cannot do chakeras while transformed...
Werebeast Cleric ... while insanely powerful. Let not. Unrpish.
dont really need chakras to work in all honesty.
I also wont be trying for any race/classes that are not currently implemented.
