Summoning 2.mob, 3.mob, etc

I'm using this mob as an example, but it happens to any duplicate mob. Why does this happen?? What makes the mob counter increment and turn 2.mob into 3.mob? Could it be properly coded so that when you summon a mob, the code does a room check first? If said mob is in the room, a second (or 3rd, 4th, etc) is summoned? Thus, no more summoning 2.mob, 3.mob...just summon mob and it works

It's like a random crap-shoot some times literally trying to guess which number.mob is the right one.

Some times you just can't Valek...spend some time at 50 and you'll know this :-P

Kidding aside, I'm not just talking about summoning mobs here. Some times you need to summon charmies and can't because 3.charmie = 1.charmie and 5.charmie will = 2.charmie...it's broken, I want it fixed

Proper summoning order for massive summonings tends to be

Summon 1.

Summon 3.

Summon 5.

Don't ask me why. It just works for me.

Also after the first tic (after you summon), your mobs in room screw up the the order.

There is also something with 2.

You can most times look 2.mob when there is only one in room.

Mya is right on. I always skip a number, 1. 3. 5. etc...

This is could be even more annoying when you are trying to clear the forest of saplings that evil DK planted to handcuff you.... Nothing is quite as annoying as "c summon 1.sap" summoning the same sapling as 2.sap and 3.sap...

this broken aspect of summoing artificially makes playing necros more difficult.

3 zombies of yours in the zone.

summon 1.zombie gets one, summon 2.zombie gets 2....3? no..you lose that guy cant be summoned. 5. gets some other mob, 3. summons your first one again. yet th best zombies come from a zone where due to the summoning snafu...you cant move all your troups safly together.

I would Entomb out of area and summon.

But yeah, i see your point.

Good thing this also works on your favor, as they cannot select which zombie to summon.

I agree that some times, summon 1.mob, 3.mob, 5.mob works...but just like you said, once the hour changes, you're back to guessing again.
