Reduce penalties for Mob deaths.

This REALLY sucks on some classes. Because in some cases you just get hosed and I seem to get caught in this place sometimes (No I'm NOT going places I shouldn't be, tell my guild master to stop sending me places that are this dangerous). It really sucks dying once and having either a con loss or twice as much xp to level as you did before, most of the time from my experience more. So I suggest one of the following changes, just one, not both.

Don't have a con loss on mob deaths. This really sucks sometimes.

Or stop the xp penalty. I like how it's capped but why not do away with it completely?

Being told the game is about being 50 on one hand yet having something like this on the other sometimes boggles my mind. I realize learning the class, training etc, is part of the levelling process. And I'm not saying 'I just want to be 50 with no work and no worry.' I would just like to see a reduction in the death penalties, not do away with them.

This might finally be an idea that not one person will argue against, though we'll see.

Are you saying no con loss but still lose a life, or that it doesn't affect total lives at all? The only problem I see with no cost of lives will be teleport pills would become the new thing.

I'm saying con as in constitution, still losing the condition however is just what happens when your God brings you back. But losing the train is just a pain. Especially for certain race/class combos that are tight on trains as is to up HP or whatever so they can be more competitive at 50.

Losing trains for mob-deaths?? Pretty sure that's not the case. If it is, I'm re-rolling my current since cuz he lost 40hp

You do lose con on mobdeath and for good reason. You died. It's a learning experience. I bet you'll never go there pre 50 again. Death is supposed to be taken seriously. If this is taken away teleport will be heavily abused. I honestly love the way it is now. You used to lose xp pre 30. Atleast now you can figure the lands out now before losing xp or con. My first feral ninja died about 30 times before 50 while I was exploring. I took that knowledge to my next char and managed to avoid those areas.

I just say don't let mob deaths count as a death. That will make me happy

Death is supposed to be taken seriously.

This.

Did you read my post? Constitution is going to cause abuse of teleport? Really? Because when your condition says 'You're about to die!' and you teleport into a room with 4 mobs and 10 hp I still think you're going to die. And you're still going to get the hit on the number of deaths you are allowed.

Also, either one or the other was stated. Not both, this would still make deaths a setback, but not one that it takes a person hours and hours to recover from.

I think that if you are dying enough as a lowbie to lose a con stat point or two, the few extra HP at 50 isn't going to matter very much for you.

If you are dead set on power stating your character after taking many lowbie mob deaths, put on some +con gear until you get to 50 and then you can raise your con back up using cabal services.
