Aside from use in ranking at low level, kick, lightning bolt, and harm are pretty useless compared to thier other spells.

I thought to make harm more useful, maybe lower the mana cost 5-10. Energy drain has the same cost, and seems to be far more useful then harm. And if you need damage from your spell, iceball or fireball seems to get it done.

Or I thought, maybe get rid of kick, harm, and lightning bolt, and give them mounted combat. They are a knight, after all? A goliath-like nightmare mount would be neat, but also possibly too much?

If this goes into effect, I want Paladin Holy weapons!

I'll be honest though, I truly do believe DK's are the most well-rounded, best setup class we have.

New Idea, Paladin Anti-Malform. It levels everytime you die to a Player.

If you don't like them, then don't practice them. Problem solved.

Kick has it's uses, in case some Cleric Silence you and he already dirted and cleaved, and is about to die, you can kick to ensure more damage.

Lightning bolt and Harm were the main direct damage single target spells before the magic missile change. They still are for midlevels. They are far from useless.

Remember a smart player fighting a DK will run to a very large mob so that he cannot Fireball.
