Gothic Plate and High Priest's Mitre aren't rare?
Full Loot/Equipment Lists
Yes, they are non-rare. I would hardly say, however, that the Gothic Plate is a typical re-equip piece. It is rather difficult to get alone, especially taking into consideration the fact that if you're re-equipping, you're naked.
Even when Mya is making sense and the info she provides is right its still WTF
that suit she listed though complete would leave you with -dex, and -str I believe.
Τhe suit Mya listed made me realize that I hadn't fully explored those areas. Thanks! ![]()

The problem is knowing where those places are, since a lot of them aren't on any maps.

This is where exploration comes in. The clan quests, group members, hunting, equipment gathering parties, etc......the rest will fall in place in the game. This is the piece of thread WITH peanut butter attached to it that's going to bring in the mice, baby.

indeed, eq lists are useless, explore ALL areas you can if you want to know how to equip fast and be pkill ready with minimal rares.
hell, take any list of eq. its still useless without decent consumables. ESPECIALLY for a melee.
The adventure class is spectacular, and if you are needing to look in this thread for lists of eq then you NEED to roll an adventurer...get to 30 and area by area explore.
I sort of feel like the Notepad list is OOC, since at creation you're supposed to forget everything from other characters. Yes I know you can't forget everything, but I somehow feel like it's different if you have it in your head rather than in a file. But I know I'm really just lazy.
Yes, but if everyone played like every new character didn't know anything, no one would 'know' any quests.
I RP it off as 'I learned it from a teacher.' or something of that sort.
Sorry to get you so riled up Krins. I agree with Pali's post. Also' date=' to be completely honest, I played this great game for almost TWO years before I even KNEW that there was a forum at all. First time I logged on and read the old MOTD the link didn't work to the forums then so I just did not try it after that. By the time I even learned of the forum I had had multiple pinned characters. Knew a ton of the equipment out there(Was a dummy here, made a healer specifically to id things and instead of making a comp folder for it I literally wrote down all the id's on a few yellow notepads.lol). I knew how to get through winter and gear, and a lot of the rares out there period. I know some might just think "So what?" My point is that I learned ALL of that IG. I challenged people constantly. When someone wore something I had not seen I asked about it. If they would not help me out I asked everyone else IG about it until I had an answer. There is a great sense of accomplishment in making a lot of your own discoveries in this manner. Also my first pinned character I had no idea how to even "roll" so I pinned an ogre warrior with a 38 roll and played him to damn near condeath. (Not meant to sound so egotistical here-->) It just made me "that" much better from sticking that kinda thing out.[/quote']
same here! the link was dead when i joined, and the only way i found it was googling 'forsaken lands berserker guide' and finding the 'essays' section, i thought i had found a gold mine. it was wonderful. however, i am all for this idea.
