I think ninja's should be able to hide in the forest as well as the town, that would balance doing away with the losing your study when you log off. Ninja' in real life use the shadow and theres shadows in the woods to.. i just think it would be more realistic for ninja's to be able to do so.
Ninja's Hiding
Yes, and giants since they are so big should just be able to step on faeries and squash them.

Yeah ... except faeries are very fast, and fly. Have you ever tried to step on a fly in mid flight?
Calandra proved that you do NOT give camo to a ninja.
yeah and stabbing someone in the eyes should permanently blind them.
Ninjas should totaly get Camo, after all they should get something to compensate the loss of the STUDY SKILL.
Actually, I see camo as a very viable lore choice, should assassinate ever finally be removed.
Give them more spells (Illusion!) and maledictive strikes.

Those I agree with.
[insert additional snide, sarcastic remark regarding giving a class something it has absolutely no need of] ![]()
I would just like to point out that I saw the title of this thread and almost shat a brick at the thought that it was going to contain a suggestion about removing the hide ability from the class.
Celerity said it before I did. Ninjas should be able to camou in the forests as well. At the price of assassinate of course. More focus should be put into giving them further lores and abilities that myths portray them to have anyway. Give study the ability to increase your abilities against your opponent similar to the way Abandon Realms has. They'll become a much more interesting class again I'd say.
Bump.
le sigh.
I remember bringing this up and Anume gave me a snorkle. lol
