ATHARA
General
ATHARA Having mysteriously appeared in the world of Aabahran, several myths about the origin of the War-Goddess Athara have come to be known. The most prominent of these tales derived from an old fisherman-resident of Val Miran, during a period shortly after the city was reclaimed from the Watchers. According to the old man, he was fishing along the banks of the Eridani River when he happened upon a naked female covered in blood. Concerned for what appeared to be a distressed woman, the old man questioned her. The woman explained that she was the essence of war, and that the blood shed in the war for Val Miran drained into the river giving her life. In fear of the suddenly looming presence about the woman, the old man could do nothing but flee. Presently, Athara has sided with the Warmasters, and has referred to herself as the Warforger. She has made it clear that she thrives on the existence of conflict and feuding. As such, a common saying has come to be used by soldiers, Wherever a war sparks, Athara is never far behind.
