SPEAR
Syntax:  automatic

These ancient weapons require only a long shaft and a sharpened
tip.  The length of the shaft varies from short one handed spears
to 21 ft pikes meant to halt cavalry charges.  Variations include
awl-pikes and barbed spears.

Spears are more offensive and easier to defend with than daggers.
They disarm worse than maces, shield-disarm better than daggers and
are easier to disarm than axes.
