AMARUIL

Just as Demons and other dark creatures seek passage into Aabahran,
so too are warriors sometimes sent to battle the darkness outside
of the mortal realm in an effort to protect the barriers between
planes. Amaruil, an elven paladin blessed beyond imagining with
both spell and sword, was born for exactly this task. Wholly pious
and devoted to his cause, as Hope Embodied he set off with no 
expectations of returning to the beloved homeland he swore to 
protect. Centuries later, his name lost to the sands of time, 
Amaruil was summoned back from his service by Crantori to take the 
seat of Regent and lead the Knights of the Crown.
 
Still little is known about Amaruil, and even less about how his
extraplanar service has changed him, but legends tell of a leader
with unrelenting passion for the protection of the innocent. His
elven beauty shines through, and those around him know a gentle,
elegant, and noble elf lord who stands tall with impeccable honor
and grace. Those serving under him, however, know the Praetorian
as a man with high expectations and little patience for failure.
