ESHAINE
 
 
Violated by the constant misuse of civilization and the foul
taint of the unnatural staining its soil, the Land itself cried
out in pain. 
 
When the gods of old fought and perished, the enormous energies
released by the new pantheon led to much death and destruction.
But, where there is death there must also be life and a new
beginning. Thus, Nature was able to give a voice to its pain
and fury in the form of Eshaine. 
 
Part of Nature herself and sharing the lands pain, Eshaine
seeks to bring back the balance. She opposes the thoughtless
destruction of Nature via the creation of what she considers
bare wastelands and lifeless deserts of mortar and brick. In
her mind, the cities smother the land. Instead, Eshaine teaches
her followers to live in harmony with nature; to live with the
land instead of living off the land; to preserve a balance by
giving back as much as is taken. She sees herself as a 
nurturing mother to her children, a part of everything alive.
However those who defile her realm - be it by the taint of
their very existence or their careless deeds - will come to
realize that she is not only caring and nurturing but also
their worst nightmare personified.
