shield expertise

Hey guys, I was thinking. I've never played a warrior at rank 50 but I heard shield expertise blocks arrows. Now, if this is true...should it not also block throw damage from rangers, bards, thieves, and ninjas? What do you guys think?

Arrows require a rather obvious nocking, drawing, loosing action. A knife can be thrown with a quick wrist flick...can't block what you can't see...early enough to anticipate where it is heading. Not to mention...BASH BASH BASH...block your throw...BASH BASH...can you see a problem there as the rogue in question?

hrm...good point with the lagging strategy.

what rogue stands toe to toe with any warrior anyway?

Vylan did. Granted, he was a qrace and decked, but he went mano y mano vs. melee types. And won. Consistently.

What warrior is going to use a shield against a thief anyway? Lol.

what warrior is ever going to use a shield?

I can't think of many cases...

I think I posed a LONG time ago a great way to actually make a shield warrior lore a decent choice.

What was the idea?
