Exactly' date=' just because someone is corrupted doesn't mean he is demon or something. I see ferals as humans evolved into beasts and this theory of yours that they are cursed of Gaia... explain please? I don't like how you state some things just like they are facts, when they are not.[/quote']
I may be wrong... but didn't Celerity create Ferals?

Feral Vuln, to much?
Maybe bump up their strength, then they would be fine. This was a little absurd in the old days when str went down with age. OTOH as is they can be a bit overpowered if you can find a way to neutralize their vuln. Otherwise, between fireshield, bash+fire weapons, fireball, fire arrows, everyone and his brother can put you down like a dog.
I'll take being a warrior, blademaster, +3 defenses, fury, and fire vuln on my werebeasts please!
Fury is incredibly effective, and if you think it's not, you clearly haven't fought a feral who had it mastered and knew how to use it.
Ferals are fine. Yes, they can get raped.. and HARD. Though so can any ogre. Certain races need better EQ to compete.
My feral warrior Trib Threkan did VERY well. In fact, I would kill/capture any mage/communer in roughly three rounds. I dare them to spam fire spells!
i really wish i had the player of suunmar's counsel on how to most effectively end-around invokers, if not aff saves. or spell. i guess he was really good at the ole seremon-and-run? because no way he was wielding hp like a warrior.
Waraz? - That feral blademaster helped me turn 6 tribunals vs me into 6 tribunals leaving the lands when we were both on. Was gutted when he left actually.
That feral syndicate combat cleric right at the start who killed EVERYTHING besides a select few?
Ferals are buff... The vuln is NOT that bad. Especially if we finally get those arrow changes. Secondly hasnt anyone noticed that most fire weapons are DISARMABLE with only a select FEW with sockets and none no rem by themselves? ding ding I win.
Thirdly fury is devestating... Especially since it stacks somewhat too.
@Balinor: I've played myself atleast 5 ferals that had it mastered and it isn't as effective as you make it out.
@Aulian: Waraz was a monster indeed, but don't you think that a feral in watcher is not a good example for their vuln? ![]()
Why isn't it a good example? A feral in watcher is like any other feral in any other cabal... fire still hurts just as bad.
Is it me or is alot of anti feral info not quite accurate? Anyway I believe that ferals are powerhouses regardless of there vuln. Hankith feral watcher ninja vs Vandesteene fire zerk barbarian/Drayson avian dk reaver vs Pithytah feral ranger watcher were incredibly tough battles for me. Heck Pithytah was much tougher to Drayson than Triathix was. Threkan, Reydik, Rhazhakhar and a couple of other feral clerics that which despite me trying to fire the heck out of them were incredibly tough. Though I've not played any ferals to strengthen my point
.
Please omit Reydik and Rhazhakhar from the lists. Both had cabal abilities that overcame.. or helped overcome their vuln. The Watcher one is gone because it was too rediculous (Rhaz would not stand up like he did now), but the Syndi one is still around (but clerics were toned down so Reydik would not hold up either).

I fail to see how Syndi skills/spells help in any way, shape, or form to overcome any vuln or the fire vuln especially.
Ferals in Watcher are just as flammable as non-watcher ferals. Fury is...semi-useful at best. Pretty much every class has something better to be doing then fury, especially since they are vuln to a very common dmg and they have rather wimpy base hp. EQ decisions with a feral are so insanely important...hit/dam = you die from anything with any version of hp and defense, saves = melee meat, hp = just don't...trust me.
Fury is incredibly freaking useful, bordering on overpowered. If you don't think it is, you don't freaking know how to use it.
I'm not sure, but doesn't fury stack and get exponentially powerful with each application?
a-g
It stacks only the timer from what I know. From my experience 2 out of every 3 spells are still being casted. This is far from useful.
Experiment. It is incredibly useful.
And also, if your damage output is what it should be, then one missed cast out of three (which is inaccurate), can be battle-changing. It's one missed fireball meaning that you survive through the battle, or one missed cure, meaning that your opponent is going to die.
I have experimented enough to want to create another feral, thank you ![]()
Anytime Fury has been used against me it made my casting abilities all but totally worthless. Honestly... I stopped casting because it was only lagging me.
Maybe I haven't fought against many competent ferals, but even with fury I was able to get those spells out regularly.
