I can tell you now, if I rolled a good he would be a praet. Sigils are yuck.

Actually... my current guy could go either way, depending on in-game developments.
Most people go Sigil simply because the Sigil Powers are generally more useful and more powerful than those of Praet. Swapping a certain Sigil Trusted Power into the Praet skill set would certainly balance this a bit better, and from a mechanical pov would help Praets a lot more than it does Sigils, as the classes that play Praetorians generally don't have access to a certain spell very easily themselves.
