The reasons are:
Minotaurs have no vulns.
" can use any two axes
" have a special charge when using 2 axes
Have all the benefits of the giants with moe int, wis and dex

can charge with any weapon.
automastery is lots of skills especially zerker
can charge repeatedly
Minotaur zerker if played properly can kill any mage in max of four rounds.
yep - I would actually pick a minotar warrior - they are more powerfull due to the extra attack and ranged combat.
With a minotaur your fights are simply charge - flee, charge -flee.
With my mino zerk I never got to use the skills as haymaker/weaponcleave against casters.
I remember seeing WC's drow necro take a charge from a minotaur, dual wielding two mithril axes, back in the day. Killed him right there, I believe, with the charge alone.

Would a material vuln hit on a weapon charge, or just a damage type? I.e. a mithril axe doesn't hit the vuln in normal combat. I thought it only hit on thrown weapons (or maybe arrows).

Mithril/silver vulns only hit via shuriken toss (which is material vuln) and ranger toss.
It does,cleave does as well.
Pretty sure that minotaur warriors don't get the special charge, just the normal charge. I believe it's only minotaur berserkers that get the special charge. At least that is what I have been told by a person who just leveled one up and near fully trained him. I could be incorrect.
Mino zerkers get the 'special charge'.
That being said, mino anything can charge erpeatedly.

be very sure they do. Charge while dualing axes is sexy.

What about giving minotaurs a perk like neutral sliths? Only instead of swallowing corpses, they can give milk, it just makes them hungry. That way, you turn a bunch of quickly-rotting food into long-lasting refreshment.
