chii bolt lvl 3

I think chii bolt lvl 3 should dispel any 3-4 spells randomly at pinn for monks, instead of just dispeling mages, prot shield and a few other things......think about it compared to that thing I won't name berserkers hav and blademasters have their spell destroying skills plus anyone with good defenses like warriors.....dark knights....berserkers, ehhh rangers and those other classes shouldn't be lagged by any of the monks special moves because its all the blocking that keeps those hands away from the body. What do you guys think, or are monks just fine the way they are?

I agree with you, I think it should be a lot like that thing they have. I mean, if a blow to the head can make sanc drop, why not an energy barrier crashing into you?

I'm not going to say overpowering, but I would think it would lean that way. I just don't see why it's needed. Two other classes have a means to dispel doesn't mean another one should have it.

Many more'n that have a means to get rid of sanc. This wouldn't be overpowering; getting bolt to level three takes a lot longer than casting sanctuary.

One reason why monks should get it outside of 'Berserkers have haymaker, and Chii bolt already nocks down spells' has yet to be given. I also don't understand why people parrying a monks attack has anything to do with this. Every class has a means to parry or block attacks. Just as easy as it is to say

plus anyone with good defenses like warriors.....dark knights....berserkers' date=' ehhh rangers and those other classes shouldn't be lagged by any of the monks special moves because its all the blocking that keeps those hands away from the body.[/quote'] It is easy to say 'Monks shouldn't be getting parried or dodged because they should have their pk disarmed, shield disarmed, and blindned, as well as they should have a high hitroll and a mastered anatomies.'

Warriors, Thieves, Rangers, Ninja, Dark-Knights, Bards?, and Paladins all exist without a standard means of droping spells. Why don't they get it aswell? And this means of the ten classes that are not pure casters(the ones with dispel magic), eight do not have a standard(reliable?) dispelling ability. Besides, a berserker going haymaker on a warrior, if the warrior is doing what he should be doing isn't going to end fun for the berserker.

This has never been a problem for my monks any more than it's been a problem for my Rangers or Warriors.

And what happened to than?

Chii 3 is fine the way it is. It has but a small role to play and it does it perfectly.
