Randomize Mob Names

you can alias an escape route from a common crossroad area.

And if you guys would kindly stop putting holes in Val Miran, mine would continue to work instead of having to be revised on what feels to be a weekly basis.  :jester:

Who am I kidding, I've only started using those to any degree.  I can still numpad my way blind to most areas.

No.

I make full use of macros, triggers, aliases, and buttons.

I do not use the cmud map or fast walking.

The map is crap because it would take forever to customize to fit FL which is full of illogical areas (ie a ton of overlapping rooms if you map them out)

I don't use fast walk or movement macros for 2 reasons. 1) If I am vs someone who can summon and try this, I'm doomed. 2) By always getting around manually I reinforce my memorization of routes and it keeps me sharp when running blind.

The quick path alias' can be dangerous and I avoid using them.

I remember catching a Nexus Vampire in the chasm with Rheinian who I had assuming to be using these quick paths. As soon as I jumped him, he had to cut link and reconnect. Lost a lot of time doing that.

Lol.

There's 3 rounds of lag penalty for doing that now.

Also, I always find it funny when people feel the need to compliment themselves on their speed. Don't do that.

Just don't.

First off, I wasn't. I was standing still spamming murder.

Also, I find it funny when 'people' feel the need to just shit on others for what? Random internet points from people thinking how cool and edgy you must be for doing it?  I really find that most of your posts are just...negative. It makes posting intimidating, and as a whole I believe you bring the forum down with all the negativity. Just my opinion.

If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Right?

Only the first part of my comment was directed at you, the second one, about the speed, was actually aimed at Fool_Hardy :P

Who cares who it was aimed at?

Maybe it's the Canadian in me, but it's super unnecessary to just publicly shame people.

@Unknown Brother you can not publicly shame a self proclaimed fool.

Besides, @f0xx probably means more to advise than shame.

Perhaps it ended up being a little, dare I say, fool hardy. :-p

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

we dont need safe spaces here. :drinks:

do you really feel intimidated to make any posts because foxx might comment on a post you make?

also UB I wouldnt worry, you generally make logical and useful posts I dont think you need to fear the foxx.

btw, what part of Canada? Not many of us Mud from the great white north.

Firstly, that's not shaming. It's a mere advise. Where I live we have a special saying for people who like to compliment themselves.

Secondly, I am a firm believer that everyone has the responsibility to stand and confront BS when he sees it. Like the "veteran player" on prayer who says it's alright for a good and evil to group together.

Every day in RL and at work I see people who are wrong on different matters, yet they act confident and intimidate others more knowing into staying silent. Just look at the US president. People as a community have the obligation to confront BS. I want people to know that, if they want to argue on something, they will meet an opposition that is critical and awake. Opposition that is not easily intimidated by people who want a "friendlier environment" made of "political correctness".

When I see BS, I will call it out.

When I see something that needs complimenting, I will give compliments.

When I post BS myself, I expect to be confronted and proved wrong. Then I will apologize, take a note and learn, and then I'll think twice next time when I am about to post something, so I do not make a fool of myself again.

Gotta say, f0xx says a lot of wrong things over time, but when corrected, he has routinely apologized and learned.

So while he can come across as harsh to many of us, I don't think it's him being a jerk, but rather him expressing his no-nonsense opinions. It's not a bad quality. That diversity is crucial for informed discussion, and is more helpful than harmful.

I lol'd 10/10 would read again.

It seems like I may have jumped the gun then, Foxx and I apologize. I have an issue with serious hypertension and are paranoid about things. Think tweak from south park.

And @Manual Labour UC and I are in Nova Scotia, I didn't know there were more FL hosers
