When a cabal grants near-perfect information, near-perfect mobility, forced engagement, and forced conditions the defender has no meaningful decisions left to make.
Spy gives near perfect, real‑time positional information
This is the equivalent of wallhacks.
Invalidates ability to hide and recover/collect thoughts/explore
Tunnel Network gives instant map traversal
This is essentially speedhacking.
It invalidates pursuit, escape, chokepoints, geography, and travel risk to assailant.
Abduct forces a one‑sided encounter
This is forced teleport ganking.
It removes player choice, removes counterplay, and guarantees the attacker’s preferred conditions, removing the "most important part of the game" fight on your terms, because you are always forced to fight on their highly curated terms. In the case of my last pvp it instantly removed my use of 4 pets, no access to thunderstorm due to being shoved indoors and it is also extremely disorienting. There are much more toxic places you can abduct people than where i was abducted to, but it's really hard to peace together a ton of information in the flash of an eye like that while being attacked and blinded. can't even look sky while indoors to figure out where you are.
Furthermore, the "bounty" system is being used as a lazy way to have gear delivered to you. It discourages exploring group content and can be diluted down to "loot boxes" as content. All of my characters have ended up on this bounty board any time there's an active syndicate and I have any amount of decent gear.
Finally, the bounty system allows the killer to loot and you are also looted by the system, so you will lose 4 items as a blue pk flag. In the case of my last death i also lost 2 very rare sockets on top of the items, so 6 hard to obtain items lost in a flash of 1-sided gank pvp, to be delivered to some lazy guy who saw i had items he wanted.
Please consider removing or revamping this cabal into something more meaningful, engaging and fun instead of a curated 1-sided lootbox delivery systems for lazy people.
