Could it be possible to get the message saying "withstood your power" when you try to uncurse something at the temple healers, Incase you get the name of it wrong (struggled recently with something) so you know you've got the correct item?
Uncursing things
I've never had a temple healer fail.
Its 99% user error when it does for trying to uncurse the wrong item.
That's not true. An item could be nouncurse. And he could not have identify. At which point it would fail. Or he typed the wrong thing?
Anyone got the ID of the battlemaster's blade? Or attempted to uncurse it at the pit healers
It's nouncurse.
Object 'battlemaster blade' is type weapon, material adamantite.
Extra flags: glow hum nodrop noremove psienhance nouncurse.
Weight is 7, value is 4, level is 50.
Weapon type is sword.
Damage is 6d8 (average 27).
Affects hitroll by -2.
Affects damroll by 3.
Rare item.
Don't want it? Bring your rare count to 5 in your inventory, sort the blade to the bottom (below the other 4) and log out.

I have had to pay twice to uncurse at the temple. I find this to be most prevalent when I forget to use one of the main cities temples.

The thing is, those priests don't seem to have autoaim enabled, of if they do, their are not aiming at the same object you are :P
I didn't say it always worked.
I just said that when I figured out I was failing with the aim of the uncurse it always worked subsequently ;)
