Interview with Glorp and Iviled
Glorp nods.
You dazzle Glorp with your smile.
Glorp says 'Glorp!'
You now follow Glorp.
Glorp looks at you.
You join Glorp's group.
You say 'Let's get a bit out of the way so there are no disturbances.'
moving
You say 'Here is good?'
Glorp nods.
Glorp says 'Glorp!'
Glorp looks at you.
Karisha holds a wooden recorder under your nose.
You say 'This is an interview, I might publish part of it.'

Forest Trail
The grass here is trampled and dirt shows thorugh in several patches. It
appears you are on a path travelled more often than others in Everwild.
Trees short and tall, thin and thick surround all sides of you.
The trail runs north and west.
[Exits: north east west]
Some greyish herbs lie here.
(Invisible) (Charmed) A young black dragon belonging to Glorp is here.
(Invisible) (Charmed) A zombie of Travl stands here serving his master.
(Invisible) (Translucent) Glorp the Master of War is here, sitting astride a black dragon.
There is a cheerful brownie here chatting merrily away.
There is a cheerful brownie here chatting merrily away.
A small pixie stands here laughing cheerfully.
You say 'I have heard that you are indeed a two-men team, is this correct?'
You say 'Rumor is that you have a faerie companion.'
bio Glorp
Race: Fire, (Left-handed) (Underweight)
Face: Long Eyes : Yellow Facial-Hair: Clean
Hair: Bald Color: Bald Texture: Bald
Body: Broad Skin : Dark
Description:
Layers of ash trail behind and coat the skin of the enormous humanoid
creature stomping about. Short black locks of curly hair toss about like
flames in a strong wind, streaks of crimson visisble near the center of the
mass. Large yellow eyes set deep beneath heavy thick brows of red stare
with a strange intensity. A star shaped scar is imprinted on the bridge of
his nose between his eyes. His chapped lips form a sneer and reveal
jagged teeth that appear sharpened to a fine point.
Most of his body is covered in dark iron forged plates attached to chain
linked dressing underneath. He wears a bandolier across his chest which
holds a few daggers and has a large crest of a fist covered in flame. An
assortment of bladed and hooked weapons hang from his belt covered in
blood, gore, and bits of flesh.
An ebony skinned Faerie appears atop Glorp's shoulder. He stares at you for a few moments, then speaks. 'Yes, more like I am the master, and Glorp is my tool of destruction.
You say 'Oh!'
You say 'There!'
Karisha points excitedly.
You say 'Oh, now that is interesting.'
You say 'How would you describe your relationship and the allocation of work?'
The giant smiles happily. 'Glorp' the giant remarks. Looking somewhat annoyed, the faerie stares briefly at the giant. 'I will do the talking.'
Karisha examines the dark fae.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Well, it is a matter of who is best suited for what.
Karisha rises the wooden recorder to make it more comfortable for the dark fae.
You say 'Natuarlly, and who is best suited for what?'
The faerie continues, 'Typically matters of combat are where Glorp will handle, unless things require my special touch.
Karisha seems intrigued, scribbling down 'Special touch'. She looks up and asks, 'And this special touch, what would that be?
'As for everything else, I being the master, make the decisions.' Looking over at Glorp for a moment, the faerie adds, 'Sometimes I let him make his choices, but mostly on inconsequential matters.
You say 'So you are the decision-maker.'
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Magic, diplomacy, such are not his strong suits, and I am certainly not going to chance it to error.
Karisha nods, making a few more notes.
You say 'Have you considered taking on more servants?'
You say 'Tkanzhar, perhaps?'
Nodding the faerie goes on, 'Oh, indeed I have. However, Glorp has proven to be a full time chore in itself.
You say 'Easier to manage than a demon as well, I suppose.'
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' My other minions, mindless though they be, do not require a more direct hand.
You say 'Oh, how rude of me, I was so exited. My name is Karisha, of the Heralds.'
With a nod of his head, the faerie says, 'I am Iviled, and you have met Glorp.'
You say 'A pleasure.'
Glorp nods his head in unison with the Faerie.
Glorp says 'Glorp!'
You say 'So directing Glorp is a full-time job, you'd say?'
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Oh, indeed. I often simply allow him to wander about. He has grown independent enough to manage most things on his own.
Karisha mumbles, 'Does not run into trees.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' However, when it comes to more, diplomatic affairs and other delicate things.
Karisha nods. 'What do you think would he do if he was suddenly without your direction?
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' I find it better to take the lead.
Karisha nods.
Karisha takes a few more notes.
Karisha bites on the end of her feather, thinking.
You say 'So, if you were to suddenly disappear, what do you think would happen to him?'
Glaring at you, then Glorp, the Faeries tone turns cold, 'We won't be finding out.'
Karisha shrugs, 'Accidents happen, and this is just hypothetically anyway. Do you think he'd wander off and be forgotten?
You say 'Live a life as a hermit in some mountain cave?'
You say 'Take on a career as a fur hunter in the lower plains?'
Karisha raises the recorder to hold it directly under the dark fae's nose.
Relaxes a bit and looks back to Glorp, 'I do not think so. He is quite fond of what we have accomplished. Although without my direction, his reckless anger would certainly lead him into a lot of trouble.
Karisha nods, noting 'Lot of trouble.'
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Glorp's mind is rather a simple one. He takes what he wants, and if he is met with resistance...
Karisha turns to Glorp, 'Glorp, what do you think you would do without Iviled?
Karisha holds the recorder under your nose now, having to stand on the tips of her toes for that.
Glorp flexes his muscles and states proudly, 'GLORP SMASH!
You say 'Smash, yes, anything in particular or just general smashing?'
Glorp scratches his head, looking very confused.
You say 'I see.'
Glorp says 'Glorp?'
You nod.
You say 'Yes, that is fine.'
You say 'I see your point, Mr. Iviled.'
You say 'At least he is not a common thug like the demon fiend.'
You say 'He has a certain something, that could be almost called brutish style.'
You say 'How did you come by your Glorp, Mr. Iviled?'
Nodding at you. Iviled continues, 'I often have to help Glorp with even basic conversations.'
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Oh, I found Glorp as a baby and raised him.
You say 'Ohhh!'
Karisha scribbles down excitedly, 'Found as a baby and raised him.'
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' He wandered away from his tribe, and they seemed not to notice, nor care.
You say 'Was that hard, rising a fire giant baby?'
You say 'What did he eat?'
Leaning back, the faerie closes his eyes for a moment, 'You would not believe how troublesome it was at first. Glorp broke just about all my furniture the first day.
You chuckle politely.
You say 'I can imagine. Partly ate it as well I bet.'
Glorp yells out his warcry.
Glorp yells 'GLORP STRONG! GLORP SMASH!'
Karisha nods to herself, taking more notes, 'This is getting more interesting than I had anticipated, I'll have to get an extra long scroll.
You ponder the question.
You say 'Where did you two live?'
Giving you a nod, the faerie continues, 'At first I had to help Glorp capture his own meals, cattle and such, but after a few months, he learned to stalk his prey properly.
You say 'He ate cattle as a baby?!'
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' I have a keep on the far side of the Dwarven mountains.
Karisha seems to be taken aback.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Oh, he would eat just about anything you put in front of him.
Karisha raises an eyebrow, considering Glorp's considerable bulk.
You say 'I see...'
'Glorp!' the giant remarks followed with a burp.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Took me quite some time to temper his hunger.
Gazing over at Glorp, 'Yes, quite manageable now.
You say 'To yourself, Mr. Iviled. You are a dark faerie, are you related to the Kaddars?'
With a shrug Iviled says, 'I am not certain. I am from a Faerie village far from them, but perhaps they are cousins. Much as Glorp is cousins with those giants of Stone.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' I was an unwelcomed exception to those in my village.
You say 'So only distantly, if at all. How about the more common faeries, like the mysterious King Sylf Starkholm?'
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Perhaps. My parents were not of the same color skin. They were similar to the other faeries.
You say 'So you were an exception in both coloring and temper, I take it?'
You say 'Did they cast you out?'
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' My life in the village was difficult, and the reason I left.
Karisha nods, 'Being different often is.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Eventually.
With a sneer Iviled states, 'But Glorp and I will take care of that.
Karisha raises an eyebrow at the last comment, 'Take care of the village?
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Yes, all in due time.
Karisha swallows, then nods.
You say 'One last question, before we finish, to both of you.'
You say 'Which is your favorite hobby? Glorp, that means what do you like to do most?'
With a big grin the giant states, 'Glorp like fightin!'
You nod at Glorp.
Glorp says 'Make Glorp strong!'
Karisha turns towards the faerie.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Hobby...
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' hrmm.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Plots and schemes are generally what occupies my time.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Aside from managing Glorp.
You say 'That is more a full-time job than a hobby though, as you stated earlier.'
You chuckle politely.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' It is quite a shame, since I spent most of my time working with the dead.
You say 'Zombies and such?'
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Oh yes. Quite proficient I am too!
Karisha says faintly,'I see...
You say 'Yet Glorp is alive, do you plan to change that to make him more manageable?'
Looking over at Glorp, 'Then I was presented with quite an opportunity to focus that knowledge on.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' We shall see.
Karisha nods, looking a bit worried.
The faerie chuckles, and Glorp mimics the faerie.
You say 'Alright, Gentleman, I think this is quite enough. I thank you both for your time.'
You say 'Oh, you wanted a ring, Glorp.'
You stop using a heavy-black dragonscale ring.
From atop Glorp's shoulder, the Faerie says, ' Indeed.
You give a heavy-black dragonscale ring to Glorp.
You say 'I'll see if I can find you another.'
You say 'If I have any more questions, I'll come back to you.'
