The Forum
The newly built Forum is Maelbrim's premier meeting area. It is a large
circle, its boundaries marked by columns and its ground laid with marble.
Here is where public deals are struck, orations are given, and a great deal
of spectacle takes place. It was ground zero for the catastrophe that was
summoned to this land, but there are no signs of that devastation now. What
had once been a ruinous crater is now a symbol of life and a flurry of
activity. The King's Square is due east, the Northern Commons to the north,
the Southern Commons to the south and Green Square to the west. A fountain
has been placed in the middle of the square, a true masterpiece of art.
Just north of it, a white marble statue has been erected, depicting a very
hairy, square, small person. Must be a dwarf.
Some graffiti has been surreptitiously placed here, depicting a White Wolf.

What an odd looking statue. It stands to be about seven feet tall once
upright, humanoid in shape and features but that is about as far as it goes.
Head, torso, two arms and two legs. Although rather than flesh and bone it
seems to be a clear material, looking like scratched and chipped glass.
This material covers most of its whole body with thousands of red and blue
colored slender tubes running throughout, just under the surface for all to
see. The joints where knees and elbows should be are interlocking gears and
rotors which are softly revving, creating a cacophony of muffled hums. On
the chest of the construct are the words "Automated Golem Made to Enforce
Empire Law" Each letter looks to be stamped onto the chassis separately and
at the end, segmented from the rest is what seems to be deliberate attempted
scratching, and chipped away letters which "Br m o". Where this creatures
heart would be on a mere man, there is a soft blinking red light just under
the surface. On its left shoulder is an odd cylindrical red tube resembling
a boomstick that seems to track all the movement in front of him, and an odd
blue smoke seeps from the barrel and dissipates above him.
Possibly the most unnerving thing about this adeptus wannabe is its face.
Not clear like the rest of the body but has a fleshy pink color and (Poorly)
imitated humanoid features. The face is stuck in a perpetual wide smile,
with attempted soft welcoming eyes which as if drawn on by one with little
artistic talent. It has details of eyebrows (Which seem to just be black
paint) which point up in the center scratching a larch confused looking
arch. Although where the teeth would be, an odd unmoving box resides
painted and drawn to look like teeth is the only definition.
Agmeel currently holds the title of Master Questor of Aabahran.

Rift Road
This street, leading from the Forum to the west to the Dragon Gate to the
east, has been named to remind people of the catastrophe that destroyed
Rheydin, Maelbrims' predecessor. Even though the Rift and the following
explosion are but a memory told to small wicked children, the catastrophe
shall never be forgotten. The street leading east, ultimately to the Savant
Tower, has been chosen to remind the populace who caused the Rift that
triggered the explosion that took out a large chunk of the city.
The Palace can be seen to the north.
