When trying to surprise a Tribunal goes wrong

I literally created this character as a testing ground. Wanted to see if I had really high AC, with berserker type of Hit/dam, if I could potentially surprise and kill someone like Llyr. I've been noticing these new ninja's are really defensive, while being super offensive and still maintaining the ability to heal themselves with cure lights. I built this character just for this moment.

to be extremely clean and orderly, the guards of Tribunal circling around

this point. A fountain dominates the center of the square, spreading forth

clean water. Mounted on the top of the fountain is a large crimson banner.

It is the symbol of Miruvhor, united with the two other major cities of 

Aabahran.

I don't understand why berserkers get that HP boost. Such a false sense of hope right! haha.  I've never been a berserker before and wanted to test a theory, which failed horribly. I thought with a 68 Hit/ 70+ Dam, I could offset a dex reduction when transformed. However, I see now if someone is that defensive your not really going to do that.  Thanks Llyr, I literally created this character just to see how this scenario would play out. Test completed!

Okay.. 

There are a lot of issues with this as a "test". For the most part, you chose a race that is not exactly the best berserker race. I would pick any other race other than were beast for a berserker, personally. You did the classic rage/bodyslam and expected to win. Again, not the way to go about a fight. Honestly, you didn't do too bad considering you didn't use any real tactics/strategy. You didn't try to haymaker, didn't dirt kick from the start(ninjas don't get blind fighting), you didn't cleave his weapon, you didn't DO anything outside of rage/bodyslam.

I kinda believe a berserker needs a slight increase because the numbers that a berserker were supposed to be getting, everyone can get. BUT, that is for a berserker thread, not a ninja thread.

As for ninjas, the punch is too strong. It should not do equal damage to their main hand weapon. Its a punch, not a strike with a weapon. Berserker's fury assault attack doesn't do this, why would a ninjas fist?(I think those can be comparable in skills, yes? Similar theory, to me at least.)

Ninjas got a LOT of attention, arguably too much. I think Grakk's log proved this a lot more than this particular one. I'd like to see this fight again, but with you using more of your skills and some strategies.

Wiki says ninjas only get third attacks so how is this possible?  I get they get extra attacks through choices but 5 extra attacks in a round?

So, attacks 1, 2, 3, 4 are the ninjas attacks. Attack 5 is tsuki strike, a skill not an attack. Attack 6, 7, 8 are his blood guard.

The punches come from pugil it seems. No idea why they are "punches" though, especially considering he is using a two-handed weapon.

Masharu trance goes to shadow arts and doublesheath.

Who makes a character just to test something? Is that Magick? Why not full on Devastation? Anger is for haymaker passing protective shield + shield. Ninjas don't have both. So devastation with berserk would have made the fight a breeze.

Not me.  I do a lot more theorycrafting than actual testing.  Which is why I suck at PK.

Perhaps brute melee aren't suited to be their weakness? 

I have noticed they have little to really deal with casters.

I wanted the Harden head and Haymaker bonuses. This is why I went with anger. However, as a byproduct, I also wanted to see how this set-up would fair against these new ninja's. Especially Llyr because he is pretty much at max EQ. I'm all about making 'test' characters. If I have a theory about something, I'll roll up the character and test it out. You can now get to pinnacle in one day, plus another day to get the proper eq if it's about. So it's easily justifiable.

@Ambroas here is a quick tip. Everytime you look at someone, copy and paste their armor on a word document. Catalog as many different variations as you can. If you know there are certain powerhouses about, then you especially want to see what they have. Combine this and using wiki on a regular basis and you will get a general idea of where some stuff is. The wiki is super outdated right now, so unfortunately, some of the newer equipment isn't going to show up. Now, if your having problems getting a group together to get some of the really rare stuff, then I would recommend being a class that can tank and do solo missions. Personally, I have found Clerics, Druids, Warriors, Rangers and Battlemages can pretty much go anywhere solo if you have patience. It also helps if your able to capture logs on your mud client. Anytime I was going somewhere I didn't know, I would log it and look at it later. Or I would leverage it when I needed to travel to the same place. I still see people wearing stuff that I have no idea what they are because they are not on the wiki, so there will always be a little uphill battle until it's updated, or you can constantly explore and catalog. Always remember that each character has a specific EQ build. Some are all AC and Saves, HP, MANA, while others are all Hit/Dam or a bit of everything. It also depends on who your enemy is going to be.
