No, you dont suck. What sucks is the minotaur race with this crappy stats. Every other race makes better warriors even elf.

Not true, lol. A few minor tweaks and he would have not only won, but won decisively. Arrows alone would have netted him the win, but some things to watch out for:

Don't re-engage right away when you're affected by his feign/subversion. Let it fall off and make him have to redo it instead of lagging you.
Don't berserk IN combat unless you know that its going to go down to the wire. You lost 41 of the 100 HP you gained from berserk in the round you were lagged.
Don't forget about using your Abbot Staff. Say "Malinayati" and you get a free cure.
Don't charge him unless he is blind:

That didn't help you at all. Dirt kick, then he will probably dirt kick. But, if he MISSES his, that's a good opportunity for you to flee/charge and get in some nice rounds where he is blind and you aren't. That means you'll hit more and he won't. That's good for you.

Use your ring during the fight, not immediately after you lose. :P
Instead of bashing over and over, what I would have done is throw out a bash then offhand disarm. No more feign. Feign is what was kicking your ass, remove that aspect, as well as his ability to dual parry and pump out more damage. Better yet, I would have ran around a bit, let him chase me and wait. As soon as he walks in, bash him. 9 times out of 10 people, especially warriors, enter dirt the MOMENT they walk into the room if they plan on attacking. Now, he is lagged 2 rounds from your bash with a command in his buffer. Bash, then offhand disarm, he dirt kicks, you dirt kick. He WILL flee. Take his disarmed weapon.

There are TONS of little tactics/strategies that can turn a fight in your favor no matter how "out-gunned" you are. These little things not only slightly turn the fight, but it plays into his strategy as well and anytime you can fuck with your opponents strategy increases the chances that you'll win as not everyone can think on their feet that quickly.

Wow thanks Trick. This is actually so helpful.... I had no idea that staff would do that...

Thank for the great advice all round. I'm still not sure how mino-charge works. Its the first time I've ever noticed it lag someone else.
