Before the Tribunal Quarter

You stand before the grand district of the lawful men and women of Tribunal, the keepers of Order in Aabahran. To the north is a large stretch of farmland, and directly to your south is a large gate, protected by dozens of members of the Blood Guard, all pointing their crossbows in your direction. The rugged entrance seems to be a bit deceiving of the small city that you can see on the other side of it. Enormous and elaborate structures tower into the sky, each of them hinting the great sense of culture that the members of Tribunal seem to have.

Miles and miles of tomato crops span out before you. Most of it looks as though it was only recently planted, with a few exceptions here and there. The dirt ground stinks of fertilizer and animal stench. The crops are so plentiful and dense, it is impossible to continue on in any direction except back to the stand.

Farmer John's Foodstand

A few old pieces of plank wood and nails form a small poorly built stand before you. Dozens of boxes filled with different fruits rest on the stand's few shelves, each sporting a peculiarly small price tag. Painted across the top of the stand in big red letters are "FAHRMMERH JONHS' FHHOOD". Old dried and decomposing pieces of fruit lie smashed on the floor and around the area. Apparently not many people buy food here.

On a Lone Path

Farmer Joe's shack becomes more distant as you traverse further along the cobbeled road. The area around you has been scorched black by something, and bears nothing but severely blackened dirt and weeds. Ahead in the distance the massive structure is becoming more clear defined, as you get closer to it. From here you can make out a long ladder stretching hundreds of feet from the ground up to a hole in the front of the structure.

Further Along the Path

The cobbled path becomes a dirt road at this point. The floating structure has now reached full clarity, and you can see it in all its glory. Evenly placed bricks, unchipped and unmarked, compose its walls for what seem like hundreds of feet. Small arched openings line around all its walls, positioned for archers to shoot at its enemies if necessary. A large opening is centered within the front of the citidel, with an extremely long ladder extending from it all the way down to the ground.

A few old pieces of plank wood and nails form a small poorly built stand before you. Dozens of boxes filled with different fruits rest on the stand's few shelves, each sporting a peculiarly small price tag. Painted across the top of the stand in big red letters are "FAHRMMERH JONHS' FHHOOD". Old dried and decomposing pieces of fruit lie smashed on the floor and around the area. Apparently not many people buy food here.

Nearing the Cross Roads

The road begins to dwindle as the hills of the Dragon's Teeth turn into mountains. The fields here are thin, and the air seems cooler as you tread further. Val Miran is a tiny speck on the wester horizon, and the tall peaks of the Dragon's Teeth rise up to the east.

Lower Foothills
