the lag per round of teaching from the cabal teacher is 12 seconds. That means it takes 14.6 minutes just to get a cabal skill to 75%.
Any chance we could get that portion lowered?

I've always wondered why the hell that lag was so huge...
that lag was so huge...
Was it?
From an rp sense it makes perfect sense. Infact it should be longer. Having Someone teach you something takes time you don't just learn it in a split-second.
...so you're suggesting there be a lag instituted for learning skills from your guild master? You can use pracs with zero lag. Why not cps up to the 75% mark?
Lol
wasn't trying to burn ya or anything like that, Heph. My question of your intentions was sincere. I don't think a lag for guild pracs is necessary. Nor do I think the lag for cp pracs is necessary either.
That was my point.
you use this to get to 75?
I always felt it was just best applied to get low chance to train skills to 95%
8 cps per 1% for skills below 75%.
It costs an arm and a leg though to prac something fully with cps...
not all cabal skills require additional pracs to increase.
Usually your passive skills require numerous pracs, but your main line spell type skills take your usual prac rate to increase.
an example is things like avatar of steel. you spend a few thousand cp and get years ahead the time it would take to get it up to 95%. but I only use it for the 75 - 95% personally. As a rule of thumb, based on the stats of the character I am playing, I save enough pracs to get 5 - 6 skills to 75%, this usually amounts to 10 - 15 pracs.
10 pracs??!! Blasphemy! That is 10 hp. ![]()
amen!!..I think...
Good idea, lets put an excruciatingly long lag on guild practicing too!
Perhaps I should rephrase. Above 75% I think the lag is very well justified, you are learning to do something above an average ability, so it should take time for the cabal trainer to show you how to do said skill better. Perhaps though, skills below 75% should be less lag than those being trained above 75%. Perhaps.

I agree. This isn't what I'm suggesting we revise.

THIS is what I'm talking about. I think it would be valuable to take maybe, 5 minutes or less to get to 75%? I mean, it's less than 2 seconds if using practice sessions. It makes sense it doesn't take MUCH longer if using cps in a cabal.
