The farmer class is open to all alignments and all races.
Farmer is designed for PvE but has some Pk skills thrown in for good fun.
The farmer has selectable skill combinations that revolve around use of animals and seeds.
Farmers can summon beasts, like a ranger, and each beast has a special property. Oxes can plow through mud terrain and create new rooms, providing a OLC based building mechanism for classes. Once the farmer plows through new rooms he can begin to build structures and plant seeds. Horses can be summoned, mated, and sold as nameable special mounts to other players. Chickens can be summoned in flocks as a pk skill similar to locust swarm.
Once a farmer has plowed existing land or created new rooms for his farm, he can begin planting seeds. Seeds are the basic action skill mechanism for the class. Basic seeds can grow basic food and herbs that can be used by anyone, but each farmer also has custom seeds. Custom seeds can be made by farmers and when eaten or smoked, provide them with skills or affects. Farmers have a finite number of custom seed slots that are selectable, and can draw from any non q-class in the game. A farmer could grow a seed that when eaten makes them hidden, or casts firestorm. The possibilities are endless.
Summary: farmers have a limited, extremely flexible skillset through custom seeds that makes their pk unpredictable. A farmer with the right seeds could be throwing invoker spells at you or might rage and bodyslam if they took the time to combine the right seeds. Alternately, a farmer could spend all their time building a horse farm and selling custom mounts. The gist of the class is access. Farmers have access to pve build skills normally only available to imms. Should be coded in such a fashion to make building character driven. Farmers can also access all player skills but in a limited and fun way.
