And, yes, I like the idea of being able to ignore my own lag to snap off witty one liners and do cool looking martial moves and character ticks and all that good stuff. 
Ignore only self caused lag? Aww... I would have wanted to do something like this when I'm bashlocked to death:

On the more serious view, while doing anything group-based, I could easily tell my groupmates that I'm being bashlocked (or ask for healing while keeping the dirt in the eye). Assuming that my own battle-related commands waiting for the bashlock to end don't disable that possibility.

Oh and your enemy's lag overrides your own already so you won't be able to emote when you kick dirt and that giant bashes you right away.

You forgot SAY. And you can SAY to your groupmates what's going on, because not all of them keep an eye on the situation all the time, especially while hunting.

I do read and it clearly states it will ignore lag caused by your enemy. I don't see how you are planning to talk to your group when you are being bashlocked.

She was proposing the ability to do mid combat emotes while lagged from skills.
Some of us, yell, emote, say during battle (aside from that one player that always yawns) this is a good opportunity for people to help merge pk and rp more so there is less of a divide.
